Marriage banns for Keziah Houghton and Ebenezer Buss were published on 21 January 1747/48 at Lancaster, MA.2,3 Keziah Houghton married Ebenezer Buss, son of John Buss and Hannah (?), on 8 April 1748 at Lancaster, MA.4 Keziah Houghton died on 20 October 1822 at Sterling, MA; aged 93y 4m, under the name Buss.5
     Your authors note that some sources, including the Rice Genealogical Register, claim this Keziah was the daughter of Jonathan Houghton. However, her recorded age at death makes it clear she was not. She was also known as (?) Buss.

     Sarah Hosmer married Thomas How, son of John How and Mary (?), on 21 June 1681 at Marlborough, MA.1 Sarah Hosmer died on 7 April 1724 at Marlborough, MA; aged 65 (64 per gravestone) under the name How.2,1 She was buried at Spring Hill Cemetery, Marlborough, MA.2
