Thomas Goodenow married Abigail (?). Thomas Goodenow was baptized on 1 October 1732 at Rutland, MA; under the name Goodeno.1 He is the son of Nathan Goodnow and Lois Cutler.
The identification of this Thomas as the son of Nathan and Lois (Cutler) Goodenow rests partly on circumstantial evidence: three of his first five children were named Nathan or Lois. The 1732 baptism record in Rutland does appear to refer to this Thomas, but the location is somewhat surprising and needs explanation.

Josiah Sartel Prentice was born on 27 December 1778 at Ward (Auburn), MA.1 He was the son of John Prentice and Sarah Brooks. Marriage banns for Josiah Sartel Prentice and Anna Waters were published on 15 August 1801 at Ward (Auburn), MA; listed as Anna of Sutton. This event is shown as a marriage in the printed vital records, but the marriage record in the bride's town is undoubtedly more reliable. It follows, then, that this event must have been the intention only.1 Josiah Sartel Prentice married Anna Waters, daughter of John Waters and Phebe Goodale, on 11 November 1801 at Sutton, MA; listed as Josiah of Ward.2 Josiah Sartel Prentice died on 20 August 1857 at Auburn, MA; aged 79y.1 He was buried at Center Cemetery, Auburn, MA.1
