John Bond1,2

     John Bond was baptized on 23 November 1690 at 1st Church, Watertown, MA.3 He married Silence Rice, daughter of Jonas Rice and Mary Stone; but the time and place of this marriage are unknown. The only evidence for it is Silence's gravestone in Templeton. The Worcester vital records show a marriage between a John Bond Jr and a Silence King in 1751, but that was a young couple who proceded to raise a family in Worcester and later Conway.4,5,6,1,2 John Bond died after 1763; as his wife Silence's gravestone makes clear he survived her.4
     John Bond was dismissed to the Worcester church in 1752 at Watertown, MA.7
