     Abigail Bugbee was born on 26 March 1736 at Roxbury, MA.1,2 She was the daughter of Lt Daniel Bugbee and Abigail Rice. Abigail Bugbee married John Capen, son of Samuel Capen and Susanna Payson, on 3 January 1757 at Dorchester, MA; listed as John of Dorchester and Abigail of Roxbury.1,2,3 Abigail Bugbee died on 10 September 1816.1 She died on 19 March 1817 at Dorchester, MA; but the death record is not unambiguously identified and merely refers to Widow Abigail Capen. Also, there is reason to believe that some of the deaths recorded under the heading '1817' actually occurred in 1816.4

     Hannah Barber was born on 14 December 1737 at Medfield, MA.3,4,5 She was the daughter of John Barber and Hannah Rice.2 Hannah Barber married Captain Henry Loker, son of Henry Loker and Mary Rice, on 22 May 1755 at Sudbury, MA.6,7,4 Hannah Barber died before 21 March 1783 at Natick, MA; according to Barbour, but the basis for this supposed limit is unknown; it seems doubtful in light of her actual death record found in the Natick vital records.4 She died on 29 March 1829 at Natick, MA; aged 94y, under the name Loker.8

     Jonathan Jennings was born on 24 November 1692 at Hatfield, MA.1,2 He married Esther Rice, daughter of Jacob Rice and Mary Barrett, on 17 July 1727 at Marlborough, MA; Jonathan of Brookfield.3,4,1,5,6 Jonathan Jennings died on 19 July 1754 at Brookfield, MA.1,7
     The birth and death records for the four Jennings children are uncertain. The vital records of Brookfield list four births and two deaths to parents Jonathan and Esther Jennings. No names are given. From their grandmother's will we have the names of the two surviving children. Two children died 20 Dec 1739 and 27 Apr 1742. Mary Rice, Grandmother, left something to Moses and Thankful Jennings.1

     Mary Goodenow was born on 5 April 1712 at Marlborough, MA.3,4,5 She was the daughter of Samuel Goodenow and Sarah (?). Mary Goodenow married Beriah Rice, son of Thomas Rice and Anna Rice, on 6 January 1730/31 at Westborough, MA.6,2,7 Mary Goodenow died after June 1763 although we have no record of Mary's death or her living in Nova Scotia, her husband Beriah Rice left her one half interest in his farm and dwelling on the east side of Bloody Bridge Creek in the Township of Annapolis, Nova Scotia. Your author considers it quite certain that Mary lived at Annapolis Royal after 1760 and died after Beriah's will was recorded, 27 June 1764.8

Hannah Ward married Abraham How on 26 March 1657 at Watertown, MA.4,5 Hannah Ward died on 3 November 1717 at Marlborough, MA; under the name How.6,7,8 She estate was probated on 26 June 1718 at Middlesex County, MA; under the name How.9
     Hannah Ward and Abraham How resided at Marlborough, MA.2 Hannah Ward left a will on 20 May 1716 at Marlborough, MA,, (widow of Abraham) under the name How.
