     Joshua Warren was born on 4 July 1668 at Watertown, MA, under the name Warrin.^1,2,3 He was the son of Daniel Warren and Mary Barron. Joshua Warren married Rebecca Church. Joshua Warren died on 30 January 1760.^1,4

     Rebecca Church was born in 1678.¹ She married Joshua Warren, son of Daniel Warren and Mary Barron. Rebecca Church died in 1757.¹

     Thomas Rice was born on 27 November 1734 at Westborough, MA, (literally 1734/5).^3,2,4 He was the son of Noah Rice and Hannah Warren. Thomas Rice married Rebecca Kingsbury on 16 January 1767; Thomas of Westboro', Mass.^1,2 Thomas Rice died on 21 April 1812 at Wiscasset, ME.^5,2
     Thomas Rice graduated in 1756 at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, studying physics.⁵ He was in the practice of physics. He was for several years the Register of Deeds and Judge of the Court of Common Pleas for the County of Lincoln; member of the State convention that, on the part of Massachusetts, adopted the Constitution of the United States, and voted for it. He held other offices of trust and responsibility, in all of which he discharged their incumbent duties with ability and integrity at Pownalboro' (Wiscasset), ME.⁵ He resided at Pownalborough, ME, now Wiscasset, Maine.⁵

     Mary Brownell was the daughter of Joseph Brownell and Elizabeth Legg.¹ Mary Brownell married Asahel Rice, son of Noah Rice and Hannah Warren, on 4 February 1762 at Mendon, MA; Asahel of Sutton.^2,3,4,5 Mary Brownell died on 7 June 1821 at Sutton, MA; under the name Rice.^6,7
     Mary Brownell was also known as Mary Bromwell; Ward has her as the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Brownell of Mendon. The Mendon vital records lists the birth of Mary Broomel (sic), daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth, 15 October 1740, which is a more likely ancestry.^3,8 She and Asahel Rice resided at Sutton, MA.⁶

     Timothy Bacon married Lydia Rice, daughter of Noah Rice and Hannah Warren, on 6 August 1752 at Sutton, MA; Timothy of Sutton.^1,2,3 Timothy Bacon died on 27 August 1818.²
