     Zerviah Rice was born on 11 September 1741 at Westborough, MA.^4,5,3 She was the daughter of Lt. Eleazer Rice and Persis Newton. Marriage banns for Zerviah Rice and John Brigham were published on 30 December 1763 at Shrewsbury, MA.⁶ Zerviah Rice married John Brigham, son of John Brigham and Susanna (?), on 12 March 1764 at Westborough, MA; both of Shrewsbury. (All ERA books have the year as 1760. Both the Shrewsbury and Westborough vital records have the year as 1764 and the town as Westborough).^1,3,2,7,8 Zerviah Rice died on 10 February 1818 at Phillipston, MA; widow of John at age 77.^3,9

     Timothy Rice was born on 22 April 1744 at Westborough, MA.^2,1 He was the son of Lt. Eleazer Rice and Persis Newton.

     Francis Rice was christened on 30 March 1746 at Westborough, MA.^1,2 He was the son of Lt. Eleazer Rice and Persis Newton. Francis Rice died before 1767; as she was not mentioned in her father's will.¹

     Alpheus Rice was born on 2 June 1751 at Westborough, MA.^2,3 He was the son of Lt. Eleazer Rice and Mehitable Stone.
     Alpheus Rice was in the military in 1775 as a soldier of the American Revolution from Great Barrington.⁴

     Persis Rice was born on 1 June 1753 at Westborough, MA.^2,3 She was the daughter of Lt. Eleazer Rice and Mehitable Stone. Persis Rice died before 1767; as she was not mentioned in her father's will.³
     Perhaps she is the Persis Rice who married George Townsend of Brookfield in 1770. In describing Persis on p. 77, Ward writes 'not in the will,' but his abstract of the will on p. 78 clearly lists her as one of the legatees.¹

     John Rice was born on 19 March 1755 at Westborough, MA.^3,4 He was the son of Lt. Eleazer Rice and Mehitable Stone. John Rice married Esther Fay, daughter of Deacon Hezekiah Fay and Esther Gibbs, on 6 October 1785 at Westborough, MA; listed as John of Marlborough and Esther of Southborough. Ward states that the marriage took place in Marlborough, but the marriage is actually found in the vital records of Westborough.^5,2,3 John Rice died on 20 April 1812 at New Braintree, MA.⁶
     John Rice resided after 1806 at New Braintree, MA, 'whence their children came to Shrewsbury to be brought up...^5,7' There is some question of this relationship, as noted by WARD.⁵

     Hannah Rice was born circa 1757 at Shrewsbury, MA, (not found in the published records).¹ She was the daughter of Lt. Eleazer Rice and Mehitable Stone.

     Samuel King was born on 8 December 1720 at Worcester, MA.^1,2,3 He was the son of Peter Rice King and Elizabeth Flagg.

     Benjamin King was born on 25 March 1722 at Worcester, MA.^1,2 He was the son of Peter Rice King and Elizabeth Flagg. Benjamin King married Sarah Taylor, daughter of Benjamin Taylor and Sarah (?), on 3 September 1745 at Townsend, MA.^3,4,5 Benjamin King died on 2 November 1777.⁴
     Benjamin went off to War and never returned. Sarah moved the children to Maine.
According to the Muster Roll of the New Ipswich Company:
     Led by Capt. Ezra Towne in the 3d regiment of foot, commanded by James Reed, belonging to the Army of the United Colonies of North America. This company was at Bunker Hill, June 17, 1775.
     Benjamin is listed as joining on May 13, 1775, born in Worcester, age 53, occupation as farmer. He was 5 ft 6 in with brown hair and blue eyes.^4,6

     Experience Child was born on 26 February 1669/70 at Watertown, MA, (literally 12th month 1669).² She married Benjamin Flagg, son of Thomas Flagg and Mary (?), on 26 September 1690 at Watertown, MA.³ Experience Child died in 1747.⁴

     Simeon Hayward was born on 22 February 1722/23 at Westborough, MA, under the name Haywood.^1,2 He was the son of Jonathan Hayward and Martha Rice. Simeon Hayward died on 26 July 1741 at Marlborough, MA; aged 18y, under the name Haward.³ He was buried at Spring Hill Cemetery, Marlborough, MA.⁴

Relief Whitcomb married 1st William Oakes, daughter of William Whitcomb and Hepzibah (?), on 27 May 1752 at Bolton, MA.^2,3,5 William Oakes died before 1783; as his wife remarried in 1783.⁶

Seth Oakes married Elizabeth Shevally on 25 May 1757 at Bolton, MA; listed as Seth of Bolton and Elizabeth of Stow.^2,3,5,6 Seth Oakes died on 24 April 1810.³
     DAR Patriot Index, vol. 1, p. 502, lists a Seth Oakes, b. 8 April 1733; d. 24 April 1810; m. Elizabeth Shevally; QM Sgt; MA. The published vital records say that he was christened, not born, on 8 April 1733.³

     Jonathan Goodenow was born on 5 January 1734/35 at Westborough, MA.^2,1 He was the son of Jonathan Goodenow and Lydia Rice. Jonathan Goodenow died on 21 August 1737 at Westborough, MA; (1739 per Ward).^2,1

     Levi Goodenow was born on 21 April 1737 at Westborough, MA.^2,1 He was the son of Jonathan Goodenow and Lydia Rice. Marriage banns for Levi Goodenow and Meliscent Keyes were published on 9 April 1762 at Shrewsbury, MA; listed as Levi of Marlborough.³ Levi Goodenow married Meliscent Keyes, daughter of James Keyes and Abigail Rugg, on 8 June 1762.⁴
