     Elias Wheelock was the son of Elias Wheelock and Sarah Rice. Elias Wheelock married Mary Hook.¹

     Elias Wheelock died in 1821.² He was born on 17 April 1743 at Mendon, MA.³ He was the son of Obediah Wheelock and Martha Sumner. Elias Wheelock was baptized on 2 June 1745 at Mendon (Milford), MA.⁴ He married Sarah Rice, daughter of Beriah Rice and Mary Goodenow, circa 1766 at Annapolis Royal, Annapolis Co, NS. In the 1768 census, Elias Wheelock had two males and one female in his household, all American. It seems likely that Elias and Sarah had been married for about two years and the second male was their first son as Sarah Rice's younger brother Joseph was listed separately in the 1768 census. Their first daughter must have been born in or after 1768, not 1766 as given by Ms McCormick. By the 1770 census, Elias had four Americans in his household, most likely Elias, Sarah, and two offspring.^5,1
     Elias Wheelock left a will on 27 December 1819, that named wife: Sarah and children: Sophia the wife of James Eager, Amerit the wife of Samuel Morse, Sumner, Sarah, Elizabeth, Abigail, Ward, Elias and Charles. Granddaughter: Amerit Martyn. Witnesses: Welcome Wheelock and Amariah Wheelock.²

     Israel Whitcomb was christened on 22 April 1716 at 1st Church, Lancaster, MA.^2,3 He was the son of Hezekiah Whitcomb and Hannah (?).² Israel Whitcomb married Azubah Houghton, daughter of Jonathan Houghton and Thankful White, on 8 May 1738 at Lancaster, MA.^1,4

     Israel Whitcomb Jr was born on 16 July 1746 at Bolton, MA, under the name Whetcomb.^2,1 He was the son of Israel Whitcomb and Azubah Houghton.¹ Israel Whitcomb Jr married Eunice Wilson, daughter of Nathaniel Wilson and Eunice Davenport, on 28 November 1775 at Bolton, MA.^1,3

     Jonathan Whitcomb was born on 27 April 1749 at Bolton, MA, under the name Whetcomb.^2,1 He was the son of Israel Whitcomb and Azubah Houghton.¹ Jonathan Whitcomb married Relief Fife, daughter of James Fife and Patience (?), on 1 June 1773 at Bolton, MA.^1,3 Jonathan Whitcomb died on 14 February 1830 at Bolton, MA; aged 80y.² He was buried at Bolton Pan Cemetery, Bolton, MA.²

     Jonathan Whitcomb was born on 30 March 1754 at Littleton, MA.² He married Elizabeth Baker, daughter of Charles Baker Esq and Mary King, on 8 June 1814 at Phillipston, MA; listed as Jotham (sic) of Littleton.^3,1 Jonathan Whitcomb died on 21 February 1846 at Littleton, MA; aged 92y.⁴
     His identity is somewhat in doubt. Although the information compiled from family Bibles and published with the Littleton vital records indicates that Elizabeth Baker married a Jonathan Whitcomb, the vital records of Phillipston (where the marriage took place) give the groom's name as Jotham.

     Joshua Whitcomb was born on 2 May 1746 at Bolton, MA, under the name Whetcomb.^2,1 He was the son of David Whitcomb Jr and Betty White.¹ Marriage banns for Joshua Whitcomb and Eunice Prescott were published on 27 December 1771 at Lancaster, MA; listed as Joshua of Templeton and Eunice of Lancaster.³ Joshua Whitcomb married Eunice Prescott, daughter of John Prescott and Mary White, on 26 February 1772 at Lancaster, MA; listed as Joshua of Templeton and Eunice of Lancaster.^4,5,1 Joshua Whitcomb died before March 1776.¹

     Rebecca Whitcomb was born on 28 June 1745 at Bolton, MA, (25th per Rice Gen'l Register) under the name Whetcomb.^2,1 She was the daughter of Simon Whitcomb and Thankful Houghton. Rebecca Whitcomb married James McElwain, son of Andrew McElwain and Hezadiah (?), on 10 October 1769 at Bolton, MA.² Rebecca Whitcomb died on 23 November 1811 at Winchendon, MA; aged 66y, under the name McElwain.³
     Note that the Rice Gen'l Register has confused this Rebecca, the daughter of Simon Whitcomb, with a different Rebecca born the same year to John Whitcomb, also in Bolton. The other Rebecca is the one who married Calvin Greenleaf. This one married James McElwain instead.

     Relief Whitcomb was born on 29 February 1735/36 at Lancaster, MA.³ She was the daughter of William Whitcomb and Hepzibah (?). Relief Whitcomb married 1st William Oakes, son of Nathaniel Oakes and Tabitha Rice, on 27 May 1752 at Bolton, MA.^1,2,4 Relief Whitcomb died on 27 April 1819 at Fitzwilliam, NH.⁵
