After the death of Col. Jones, Mary removed soon after, and resided in the family of her son Henry, and after his death, in the family of her grandson Henry, whom she survived 12 years, and at length, died in her 105th year. On her centennial birthday she accompanied her venerable and esteemed Pastor, the Rev. Dr. Sumner of Shrewsbury, to a sleigh ride, and enjoyed the hilarity of the occasion as much as the youngest of them. She was early distinguished for here cheerful demeanor and lady-like accomplishments, and not less so to the close of her life -- benevolent to all, unkind to none, and died not from sickness, but from natural decay, a sincere Christian.1
