David Bent was born on 18 March 1738/39 at Sudbury, MA, (literally 1738).3,1 He was the son of Micah Bent and Grace Rice.2 Marriage banns for David Bent and Mary Felch were published on 6 June 1761 at Natick, MA; listed as David of Sudbury.4,1 David Bent died circa 1795 at Annapolis, Annapolis Co, NS.5
David Bent was named executor and an heir in the will of David Bent.6 Your authors note that the birth years for David and Mary Bent's children, unless cited to an authoritative source, are not reliable. He and Mary Felch appeared on the census of 1768 at Annapolis, Annapolis Co, NS; with four males and two females, all American born, in the household.7 David Bent and Mary Felch appeared on the census of 1770 at Annapolis, Annapolis Co, NS; with 8 in the household, two American and six Acadian born.8

Ann Bent was born on 8 April 1744 at Sudbury, MA.3,4 She was the daughter of Micah Bent and Grace Rice.2 Ann Bent married Daniel Felch, son of Ebenezer Felch and Mary Bacon, on 12 May 1763 at Sudbury, MA; listed as Daniel of Natick and Ann of Sudbury.3,5,1
It is very likely that this is the Daniel Felch family enumerated in the 1768 census with three in his household, two male and one female, and in the 1770 census, five in his household all "American" born, at Annapolis, Nova Scotia, and Daniel Felch on the 1765 request for confirmation for township status and 1792 tax rolls for Annapolis. Daniel and Ann would be siblings of David Bent and Mary Felch who are also in this data set and are documented at Annapolis, Nova Scotia after 1763. Regrettably, the Felch family records for the late 18th century at Annapolis are very incomplete.
