     Ruth Willis was born on 18 June 1769 at Sudbury, MA.¹ She was the daughter of Hopestill Willis and Olive Smith.¹ Ruth Willis was baptized on 25 June 1769 at First Parish Church, Sudbury, MA.² She married John Puffer, son of Samuel Puffer and Olive Rice, on 21 March 1786 at Sudbury, MA.³

     Nahum Rice was baptized on 7 May 1772 at First Parish Church, Sudbury, MA; (sic).⁵ He was born on 9 June 1772 at Sudbury, MA.^6,7,2 He was the son of Ithamar Rice and Sarah Puffer.⁴ Nahum Rice married Sabra Seaver, daughter of Joseph Seaver and Comfort Fairbanks, on 21 March 1796 at Northborough, MA; (26th per Ward).^8,1,2,3 Nahum Rice died at Albany, Albany Co, NY.⁹

     Elina Rice was born on 24 February 1800 at Sudbury, MA, registered as Elina.^5,1,2,3 She was the daughter of Ithamar Rice and Sarah Dunn.⁴ Elina Rice married Rev. Josiah Bent on 25 October 1824.^3,2 Elina Rice died on 11 July 1889 at Springfield, MA.²
     Elina Rice appeared on the census of 1860 at West Springfield, MA; enumerated as Paulina Bent, living with her daughter and son-in-law Pauline and Edwin Dickinson.⁶ She appeared on the census of 1880 at Springfield, MA; aged 80y, under the name Bent, listed as Paulina.⁷

     Could he be the Jonas who married Lydia Stearns of Weston in 1802? If so, she might be the Lydia Rice who died at Wayland in 1849, aged 70.

     Temple's History of Framingham asserts that this is the Dorothy who married Peter Goodenow (q.v.), but we believe Temple is wrong.³

     Thomas Puffer was baptized on 9 August 1741 at First Parish Church, Sudbury, MA; it has been confirmed that both the birth and baptism dates are as shown in the cited sources.² He was born on 13 August 1741 at Sudbury, MA.¹ He was the son of Ebenezer Puffer and Thankful Cutler.¹

     Eunice Smith was baptized on 10 June 1739 at Sudbury, MA.¹ She was the daughter of Zephaniah Smith and Abigail Wheeler.¹

     Asher Cutler Jr was born on 5 August 1743 at Sudbury, MA.^3,4 He was the son of Asher Cutler and Rebecca Wood.¹ Asher Cutler Jr was baptized on 7 August 1743 at First Parish Church, Sudbury, MA.¹ He married Eunice Goodenow on 15 January 1767 at Sudbury, MA.^5,3 Asher Cutler Jr died on 30 January 1809 at East Sudbury (Wayland), MA; (27th per church records) aged 66y.⁶

     Eunice Goodenow was born circa 1745, as calculated from her death record. The Rice Gen'l Register incorrectly specifies a birth in 1738 and the parents to go with it, based on an entry in the Sudbury vital records, but that older Eunice married William Dunn instead.² She married Asher Cutler Jr, son of Asher Cutler and Rebecca Wood, on 15 January 1767 at Sudbury, MA.^3,4 Eunice Goodenow died on 12 October 1812 at East Sudbury (Wayland), MA; aged 67y, under the name Cutler, from consumption.⁵

     Samuel Russel married Sarah Briant circa 1735 at Sudbury, MA; (torn).²

     Nahum Cutler was born on 28 May 1746 at Sudbury, MA.^2,1 He was the son of Asher Cutler and Rebecca Wood.² Nahum Cutler was baptized on 8 June 1746 at First Parish Church, Sudbury, MA.³

     William Moore married Abigail Wheeler.¹ William Moore was born on 18 December 1748 at Sudbury, MA, under the name Moor.^2,1 He was the son of Abijah Moore and Eunice Gibbs.² William Moore was baptized on 25 December 1748 at First Parish Church, Sudbury, MA.³
     It is unclear whether it was this William or his namesake uncle (RIN 4192) who married an Abigail Wheeler. It was probably not both, though that remains conceivable. Pending resolution of this question, we retain both marriages, as presented in the Rice Gen'l Register, and we similarly assign the children of William and Abigail to the uncle.¹

     Lois Cutler was born on 5 February 1748 at Sudbury, MA.^3,1 She was baptized on 12 February 1749 at Sudbury, MA.² She was the daughter of Asher Cutler and Rebecca Wood.² Lois Cutler died on 12 September 1752 at Sudbury, MA.⁴

     Hannah Cutler was born on 3 August 1761 at Sudbury, MA.^2,1 She was the daughter of Asher Cutler and Rebecca Wood.² Hannah Cutler married Jonas Haynes, son of Israel Haynes and Sarah Darby, on 18 April 1782 at Sudbury, MA.^3,1
