Augustus Grosvenor was born on 16 December 1779 at Thompson, CT, (not found in the published records).2 He was the son of Elijah Grosvenor and Huldah (?).2 Augustus Grosvenor married Polly E. Rice, daughter of Abel Rice and Anna Nichols, on 6 March 1802; Polly of Bridport, Vermont.4,3,2 Augustus Grosvenor died on 26 March 1847 at Bridport, VT.5,2
