     Abigail Barber was born circa 1752.1,2 Thomas Rice married 3rd Abigail Barber, son of Deacon Jonas Rice and Jane Hall, on 11 September 1800 at Barre, MA.1,3 Abigail Barber died on 23 June 1841 at Barre, MA; aged 89 (87 per Ward) under the name Rice, listed as Abigail on her gravestone, but as Catherine in the town death register.1,2
     Abigail Barber left a will on 10 February 1825, proved October 1841. The will mentioned Mary Bullard, Sarah Bullard, Rebecca Boyden, Silas Barber, Lydia Dodge, John Barber, Ebenezer Barber, Francis and Nancy Rice. Francis Rice, Executor.1
