In light of the baptism recorded at Grafton, we may suppose the Supplement was wrong about the date of birth. The Rice Gen'l Register escapes from outright impossibility by moving the birth date back two days, but the scenario of setting out immediately after the birth upon a journey to arrive the same day at Grafton stretches credulity too far. One possibility is that this supposed birth date is just an echo of the known baptism.

Moses Harrington Jr was born on 8 November 1759 at Grafton, MA, (born at Watertown per church records).2 He was the son of Capt. Moses Harrington and Mary Pierce. Moses Harrington Jr married Hannah Prentice, daughter of Henry Prentice and Sarah Rice, on 7 May 1782 at Grafton, MA; both of Grafton.2,1 Moses Harrington Jr died on 22 November 1818 at Grafton, MA; aged 59y.2
Ward comments that Moses Harrington was still living in 1847 at the age of 84, but that is clearly wrong. The comment very likely refers to Harrington's widow Hannah. Their marriage record clearly identifies him as Moses Jr, thus ruling out the possibility of Hannah having married a younger Moses born about 1763.
