He was born 17 Jan 1733/34 at Shrewsbury, (not found in the published records)^{2 {p62},14 {p37},177 {p6}}, died 19 Aug 1818, (8th per Supplement 2 Part 1) at Pittsford, VT^{14 {p37},177 {p6},30,56}, was buried at Pittsford, in Baptist Cemetery⁵⁶, son of Daniel DRURY and Sarah FLAGG. Occupation: a Magistrate, in Vermont. Great care must be used to separate this Ebenezer Drury from Ebenezer, son of Zedekiah; first marriage to Hannah Keyes may have been 21 Oct 1761.³¹ They declared their intention to marry 26 Sep 1761 at Shrewsbury, MA^{2 {22, 62},14 {p37},177 {p6},30,52 {p178}}. Relocated in 1799 to Greenfield, to learn medicine from his elder brother John^{71 {p258}}. In 1807, he petitioned the Massachusetts legislature to add the middle name "Fletcher" to his birth name "Alpheus Stone."^{71 {p258}} He was active in medical organizations, including the American Aesculapian Society of New York and the Massachusetts Medical Association. He was given an honorary MD degree in 1825 by Williams College.^{71 {p259}} They declared their intention to marry 15 May 1807 at Greenfield²⁴⁸.

Israel ALLEN Jr [QQ4101] (Obadiah⁴, Mercy³ RICE, Henry², Edmund¹) , born 21 Apr 1745 at Shrewsbury^{52,2 {p23}}, son of Obadiah ALLEN and Jemima WEEKS. He died 17 Jul 1833, aged 88y at Spencer, MA¹¹². Note that Israel Jr is mistakenly identified in the Rice Genealogical Register as a son of Israel Sr. The correct identification follows from Israel's age at death as entered in the Spencer vital records as well as from the purely circumstantial evidence that this Israel named a daughter Jemima.

He married first, Thankful GREENWOOD 26 Jul 1768 at Shrewsbury, MA^{52,2 {23, 73}}. She died 25 Oct 1805, aged 59y at Spencer, MA (under the name Allen)¹¹², was buried at Spencer, in Old Cemetery¹¹².
