Joseph GIBSON [QQ3942] (Persis4 RICE, Jonathan3, Joseph2, Edmund1) , born 8 Jul 1750, (listed as June on p. 96 of Rice Gen'l Register) at Stow, MA38,2 {38, 96}, son of Capt Timothy GIBSON and Persis RICE. He died 26 May 1801 at Henniker, NH, from injuries sustained in the fall of his horse162 {p581},2 {p96}. He was one of the prominent men of Henniker for over 25 years, serving as a selectman many terms and also as an officer in the militia.162 {p581}
