The Rice Genealogical Register and Ward's The Rice Family have both confused this Henry Rice with other Henry Rices by mismatching the births and marriages. The correct identification for this Henry Rice is clear from the gravestone inscriptions at the Arborvitae (Triangle) Cemetery in Lincoln, MA. Ward was wrong in asserting that this was the Henry of Billerica who married Mary White Lee, and the Rice Genealogical Register was wrong in asserting that the husband of Mery Sherburne was Henry (WRN 2553a) son of Luke.56
